Grumpy Old Women

I was watching Grumpy Old Women on BBC2 the other evening.

Sadly, I think I'm a grumpy old woman before my time as I found myself nodding in agreement to many things on the programme!

This week it featured such delights as spitting in the street and the inane conversations that your hairdresser tries to hold with you whie you'd much rather just site and relax in silence.

Is it just me or are there other grumpy young women out there?

What kind of things they say? Being in Canada we would see it if it's on BBC Canada, or we wait for the DVD...

It's hilarious, do keep an eye out for it. It's basically a number of well known ladies - comedians, politicians, actors, journalists, etc - all of a "certain age" commenting on what it's like to be a woman of a certain age, how it influences their outlook on life and having a good old whinge about stuff. Realising that they are becoming like their mother and saying things that they swore they'd never say.

I'm a grumpy young woman too. I've not even hit my mid-twenties yet and I find myself nodding along to that show in agreement whenever I'm in to catch it.

You're not alone on this one :)

Maybe if they chose more controversial topics things would be different, but, really... what kind of person doesn't recoil with disgust when you see a fellow citizen orally excrete a phlegm ball onto the pavement? *shudder*

ugh!! And for some reason, it is worse when a woman does it. Yuck!
